Former talk show host and now behind her OWN network, is returning to the big screen with a line-up of heavyweights that is sure to have people talking about her in a positive light once again.
The Butler is set to a be a bio-pic chronicling the story of Eugene Allen, a black man who served as a butler in the White House for eight presidents. Oprah’s co-stars are slated to be Forest Whitaker, who will be playing the role of Allen, Hugh Jackman, Liam Neeson, and Jane Fonda, who will portray First Lady Nancy Reagan. The director of all these stars will be Lee Daniels, who received an Oscar nomination for Precious.
Is Oprah headed for an acting Oscar? She’s been nominated for Oscars before, and she can certainly do it again.
