I was waiting ever so patiently for Papa Joe to speak out on the John Mayer Playboy interview that had Johnny referring to Jessica as his crack or even better sexual napalm. And yep, I was right. Papa Joe has his pimp panties in a bunch.
John Mayer was a naughty naughty boy when he decided to flap his trap to Playboy magazine exposing some details, more specifically his sexual relationship with his ex Jessica Simpson. While the public already criticized the guitar gawd for his questionable racist comments and his willingness to dish so much dirt on his past, now it is Papa Joe’s turn. Apparently Joe reached out to Mayer via phone to give him a piece of his mind.
Included in their little rumored conversation basically had Papa Joe stressing the message of “leave my large chested Jessica alone!”
A source told OK! magazine, “Joe took it upon himself to call John up directly for a ‘man to man’ discussion. Joe didn’t tell Jessica ahead of time because he knew she’d object. The conversation was pretty one-sided. Joe told John that he best not even think of uttering Jessica’s name again. John put up a feeble defense – he tried to reason with Joe that he was praising Jessica, not insulting her. But no father wants to hear from an ex-boyfriend about how hot his daughter is in bed – and Joe told John as much. Joe told John to stay away from his family and man-up and apologize for his comments.”
The source added, “John did email Jessica and tell her he was sorry if the interview offended her. But regardless of whether Jessica is willing to forgive and forget – Joe Simpson isn’t ready to make amends. He’s holding a massive grudge against John. But there’s no reasoning with Jessica’s dad. He didn’t like John when Jessica was dating him and likes him even less now.”
Ummm, Papa Joe didn’t even really like the angelic Nick Lachey, so I’m fairly certain John Mayer didn’t have a freakin’ chance.
