The Rock is probably one of the smarter celebrities in Hollywood today…or I should say his manager is. He was known as a WWE star and managed to finagle his way into the movie industry and become quite successful at it. In a recent interview with Parade Magazine, Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, sits down to dish on some important stuff such as the Tooth Fairy. Check out some of the highlights of the Parade Magazine The Rock interview after the jump. It will make you feel all ooey gooey and bubbly wubbly inside.

The Parade Magazine The Rock interview is a cute one. Check out the highlights of Dwayne Johnson’s memories growing up, the Tooth Fairy and how he convinces his daughter that there really is a Tooth Fairy. Well, there really shouldn’t be any convincing, ‘cuz there is one. Duh.

On his Tooth Fairy memories:

“I absolutely believed when I was young because the Tooth Fairy was always good to me. The Tooth Fairy generally left me a dollar or two dollars and, as a kid, that was a lot of money. Now, with inflation, I guess maybe the price has gone up and sometimes there’s more money under the pillow, but then sometimes it can be a treat, something cool. What if the Tooth Fairy left an iPod? That would be cool wouldn’t it?”

On how his parents pulled it off:

“Even when times were tough, they really did a wonderful job of keeping the notion alive of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and The Tooth Fairy, the spirit of what that means — giving and giving back. I was really fortunate to have a mom and dad in my life who believed in my own potential, even when I didn’t see it at that point. Now, I can look back and reflect and be grateful for those people in my life.”

On how his daughter still believes:

“I want to be careful what I say because she might just read this. Let’s put it this way. I have been in the room when the Tooth Fairy has taken a tooth from under her pillow, but then I walked out the room very quickly because I didn’t want to look at the Tooth Fairy. I got scared.”

What keeps him going:

“I’ll never, ever be full. I’ll always be hungry. Obviously, I’m not talking about food. Growing up I had nothing for such a long time. Someone told me a long time ago and I’ve never forgotten it, ‘Once you’ve ever been hungry, really, really hungry, then you’ll never, ever be full.’ So I’ll always be hungry in some way, driven and motivated to get what I want.”

Awww, don’t you just want to put on your footie pajamas and snuggle with a teddy bear now?
