They may be losing sleep, but Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are happy as larks when it comes to their new addition, six-week-old Sparrow James Midnight Madden. Tweet, tweet!

In an interview with People, Richie sat down with the magazine in their home to talk family, “I couldn’t be happier. The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I’m right where I belong.”
So just how is Harlow holding up with having to share attention with her new baby brother?
Richie adds, “I’m glad I had a girl before I had a boy. She just loves him so much.” Joel adds, “She’s very gentle with him.”
What about those marriage rumors? On his band’s website, Joel Madden says, “i keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married.”
And this morning, Madden told Ryan Seacrest, “Obviously, marriage is in our future. I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby. That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.”
