Getting booted off of American Idol may have been the best thing to happen to Pia Toscano (my favorite, by the way). After I balled my eyes out and buried my sorrow in a pint of Haagen Daaz, I was suddenly overcome with peace. Apparently my intuition proved true. It wasn’t even 48 hours after her elimination that her signature was presented on a dotted line for Interscope Records.
Not only that, but rumor has it that she was spotted sucking face with Dancing With the Stars booty shaker Mark Ballas! Details on that below.
TMZ is reporting that Pia went on a dinner date with Ballas at Gulfstream restaurant in Century City on Friday night.
And while Pia announced via a radio show this morning that she and Ballas are ‘just friends’, that big fat smooch a witness said they saw was just something friends do I guess.
Rumor has it that Pia and Mark met while they were both rehearsing and shooting their shows (before Pia got the boot) at CBS Television City in L.A.
