Sad news coming out of Hollywood today. Poltergeist star Zelda Rubinstein has passed away. After a couple of her major organs failed her, Rubinstein was taken off of life support in December. Word is that Zelda said goodbye to the world today. Sad!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Zelda Rubinstein, she is best know for playing the medium in the 1982 blockbuster Poltergeist and its sequels. She was well-respected and a very talented actress. She was just 76 years old.
A friend of Zelda confirmed her death via RadarOnline.com, “At 1:59 this morning Zelda left us. She was very much at peace when she finally rested. I’m so sad right now, but I’m glad I was here to be with her and hold her hand. Even though she won’t be with us physically, I have so many good memories To hold on to for the rest of my life! The world has definitely lost someone very special today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With great sadness, XXXX”
Rest in peace Zelda Rubinstein. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her friends, family and fans.
