Reese Witherspoon stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her new flick “This Means War” but more interesting, Reese chats about her experience meeting Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. And let’s just say that Witherspoon was smitten. Plus, Reese chats about her Chia Pets collection and Ellen gives her a special gift.

ON MEETING PRINCESS KATE, THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE:
Reese: Somebody called me and said we’re having a really small fundraiser would you want to come over and meet the Prince and Princess? I was like, Yes. My husband just thought I was so dorky. He was like, why are you so excited? I must of tried on like six outfits. I’m meeting a princess. You don’t understand. You have to be wearing the right outfit and the whole thing. I don’t know maybe we can be friends. So we went and it’s always funny. Whenever I am super excited about things, my husband calls it the double barrel. That’s when I smile so big I look like a child.
Ellen: You really do look happy (shows photo) You’re just beaming.
Reese: I was so excited to meet her. Y’all, she’s a princess.
Ellen: Was she nice? Do you think y’all will hang out?
Reese: I mean, I would like to hang out. I’m not sure she wants to hang out with me. I could see that happening.
Ellen: Was she down to earth?
Reese: She was really nice. She was lovely. She’s so composed. She seems like such a lady and I think it’s so nice now days to see someone with such nice composure and carries herself so beautifully.
Ellen: Well, that’s great that you got to meet her and have fun… Maybe you’ll hang out.
Reese: Maybe (looks to camera) Call me. Call me anytime.
Ellen: You can play with your Chia Pets together.
