I don’t know about you, but Regis Philban has been one of the staples of television. Although I have never been a big watcher of the show Live with Regis and Kelly (and prior to that the Live Regis and Kathie Lee), but I’ve always seen Regis around. He’s like that really popular guy you know in high school that is friends with everyone – you can’t help but like him, and you may not know him very well, but you sort of like seeing him around.
Well, tv fans, it’s time that we officially say goodbye to Regis, and bid him the best of farewells.
(waves frantically)

After my own little snooping online, I found my top five picks for the new Kelly and…
1) Her Hubby
Cute, good chemistry, and they will be in it for the long haul (well, one would hope). I can’t help but notice how great Kelly and her hubby were together on the show. He’s funny. She’s funny. Why not, right? But, on the other hand, we all know how it can get when you are working around a spouse. A little iffy.
2) Howie Mandell
I know, from left field right? But Howie’s devilish sense of humor and sense of fun, will contrast nicely with Kelly’s ditsy, but adorable personality.
3) Ryan Seacrest
Really, you know you want to see those mega watt smiles next to each other. Can’t you just see their future mentos commercials together?
4) James Franco
He did great at the Oscars and…okay, I thought he looked a little out of it too; but his personality compliemented nicely with Anne Hathaway who has a Kelly-seque quality about her, anyways.
5) Bill Maher
Okay, no, I’m just kidding. But, can you imagine the world greatest cynic on morning television? No, me either. Just thought I would see if you were really paying attention. Heh-heh-heh.
