In the exclusive interview with Oprah for OWN’s Oprah’s Next Chapter, Rihanna confirms that she is still seeing Chris Brown and she does still love him. Surprise, surprise! Tell us something that we didn’t know, right? Well actually, she does!
Ri came clean on many rumors including partying on a yacht in St. Tropez with Brown and admitted that her heart still flutters whenever she sees her ex.
Rihanna told Big O, “Yes I did, we went to a mutual friend’s party on a yacht. It’s awkward because I still love him. My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me. I have to maintain that and suppress that but interpret and understand that’s not going to go away … When you don’t understand those feelings you can make a lot of mistakes.”
She went on to add that she believes that he could have and still could be the one. “I think he was the love of my life. He was my first love and I see that he loved me the same way. I truly love him. The main thing for me is he’s at peace. I’m not at peace if he’s not happy or he’s still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds that peace”, she said.
I loved this interview. Rihanna really showed a soft, sensitive side to her and gave us all a real valuable lesson on forgiveness.
