While many are hoping for Chris Brown to get jail time for smacking up Rihanna, the fate of Chris may ultimately be in Rihanna’s hands.
According to a legal expert, “The DAs are facing an uphill battle now if Rihanna isn’t cooperating. At this point, her cooperation can make or break the case. But the DAs may not need her if Brown is willing to strike a plea deal.”
An insider revealed that even if she’s subpoenaed to testify, she may refuse despite fines and possible penalties against her. “If she refuses to testify, that could potentially jeopardize the DA’s case. Her statements to police about Brown having beaten her can only be used against him if she agrees to testify.”
One of Rihanna’s relatives spoke out about the charges Chris faces. “He should be in jail. He deserves whatever he gets.”
Ummmm yeah! Damn right he does!
