America’s sweetheart presented the Best Actor award rocking a red Vera Wang frock and bright red lips. But it wasn’t necessarily her fashion sense that created the big buzz. It was the introductions of each Best Actor nominee that showcased that down-to-earth charm that we all love about Sandy B.
Sandy teased Jeff Bridges about his win and now nomination this year saying, “Don’t you want to stagger them (the wins)?” Bullock told James Franco that his General Hospital role is “the reason mothers everywhere are late picking up their children from school”.
She then told Brit Colin Firth that it was a probably a good thing that the Queen liked his role in The King’s Speech because “You probably want to go home again”. And finally she joked that Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg still hadn’t accepted her friend request on Facebook.
With her relaxed and friendly delivery, peeps were invading the social networking sites with pleas for Bullock to host the awards show next year.
