But the real question is if he is returning to Brigitte Nielsen too?
I kid, I kid!
Universal Pictures has just inked a deal that seeks to return the franchise into the hands of Arnold Schwazenegger. Jason Momoa has just been slapped hard and shoved to the side, because his attempt at Conan will literally be ignored once the new film arrives in the summer of 2014. The first movie debuted thirty years ago in 1982 and allowed The Ah-nuld to move on to greater popcorn fare like The Terminator franchise.
The new movie, to be titled The Legend of Conan, will start off where we last saw Schwarzegger’s Conan, as a warrior on the throne. The film will be produced by Frederik Malmberg and Chris Morgan (Fast & The Furious, Wanted). Schwarzenegger has yet to comment on this casting news, but of course people are definitely going to ask if any of the co-stars from those 80s films will be in the new movie as well. Like Brigitte Nielsen, for example.
Hey, it’s a valid question! And if anyone needs a check and a career boost, it’s Brigitte. Forget about Conan.
Bring back Red Sonja!!!
