Scottish born movie legend, Sean Connery just made his first public appearance in nearly two years.
The 81-year-old original James Bond has kept a low profile since 2010, which fueled worries about his health. Judging from these pics, I can see why. Gone is the rugged man who we loved to watch on screen. Here he looks old and weak.
As a long time fan of his and of his portrayal of 007, I hope he is doing well. This is the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise, so Connery might be making more appearances this year.
Sir Sean, who lives in the Bahamas, was in New York to launch Ever to Excel, a film about the 600-year history of St Andrews University which he narrates. Stock exchange bosses invited him and St Andrews principal Professor Louise Richardson, to ring the bell in recognition of the university’s landmark anniversary.
