Whenever I look at Kody Brown, I can’t help but think of him as a clown. His hair. His big floppy feet and his cheesy, squinty smile. At any rate, in an interview from the family’s new tell-all book, Becoming Sisters Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage, we get to hear more about that drama behind the famous polygamist family. And believe me, there is a lot of it.
Come on, when you have FOUR women sharing a man (and chances are that they all are on the rag at the same time), there is going to be a lot of hair pulling and verbal jabs being thrown.
And it all began when Kody married his second wife Janelle.
In the book, wife number two Janelle seems effing pissed and makes Kody sound like a got damn control freak, “It was clear that I was unable to do anything right. I folded Kody’s clothes incorrectly. I bought the wrong dish soap.”
And wife number one Meri was basically kissing Kody’s clown ass by throwing in her two cents and Janelle was having none of it. In other words, Kody getting pissed with Janelle was affecting his marriage to Meri. “She made it clear that I was disrupting her household.”
Forced to live as an unwanted guest in Meri’s home, Janelle and her sister wife communicated by screaming or going completely silent. But the most difficult emotional battle Janelle faced as a new wife was when she got pregnant before original wife Meri.
“When Janelle conceived before I did, I was pretty devastated, even though, deep down, I had expected it,” confesses Meri, who had trouble getting pregnant.
And now there are FOUR. It appears that Janelle (the first wife in the photo above) still isn’t happy. She is the only one with the somber look on her face.
