When I heard that Debi Nova, at the age of 24, has already been nominated for six Grammys I went…first of all, who the hell is Debi Nova? And because I don’t know who Debi Nova is, how is it that Debi freakin’ Nova could possibly have six Grammy nominations? Well dahlings, it is because there IS life outside of the United States and there are talented peeps out there that even WE don’t know about. The infectious track was co-written by the Costa Rican superstar and will appear on her forthcoming album release, Luna Nueva. “Drummer Boy” embodies the combination of irresistible Latin rhythms and potent pop smarts found on her full-length debut due out this spring.
