If there is one thing that I imagine America’s beloved party girl didn’t want, I’m guessing, it’s this whole pregnancy thing. And for quite a long time she denied the rumors. For every TV appearance she made, she said she wasn’t pregnant, and even sipped a bit of liquor on the Wendy Williams Show to prove it.
But now it’s official, (and to reduce the drama, luckily, the baby’s daddy is her boyfriend Jionni LaValle), and sources close to the reality star says she denied the rumors to avoid jinxing it. Well, let’s hope that this whole pregnancy denial thing though isn’t just a ploy for the star to get money. I mean, she wouldn’t do that would she?
And now that the cat is out of the bag, one can only wonder…what will this do for the Queen of Jersey Shore’s career? It isn’t really all that funny anymore when a pregnant Snooki is wobbling around on stilettos and dancing in clubs. That’s just sad and wrong. Plus, if we wanted to see something like that, we would probably be watching Sixteen and Pregnant, not the Jersey Shore.
MTV has been wondering the same as they scramble to write in this little plot twist into the spin-off show from Jersey Shore that Snooki and J-Woww are preparing to star in. The question remains as to whether MTV will support Snooki and whether they will manage to turn the bar and club hopping queen into a…well, proud mother-to-be?
Well, we’ll see. Meanwhile, Snooki can breathe a sigh of relief because supposedly she did manage to scramble an exclusive with US Weekly to discuss her pregnancy.
