Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb are moving on after a couple years together. Heck, Vergara even decided to pack up her belongings and ship herself out of Loeb’s penthouse apartment.
Celebuzz has confirmed that Sofia and her man had a series of blow-ups and blow-outs over the weekend and she got fed up and left.
“It was her decision to end the relationship and not his,” an insider told us. “One thing is for certain, though: there’s no third party involved.”
What else went down?
Vergara, 39, attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute gala earlier this week without Loeb, the tall and handsome scion to Manhattan’s Loeb, Rhoades & Co. banking fortune.
It was there that the actress was overhead confiding in friends that the couple, who dated for two years, had been “arguing a lot, particularly over the past few months.”
Another source told Celebuzz, “In more ways than you could imagine, Sofia and Nick were very different people. He is a very mellow guy. She’s the opposite. Sofia wanted to be wined and dined. Living the life of a Hollywood star, if you like.”
As for Loeb? He was more focused on his work and wanting to pursue a political career.
And while two years together is an eternity in Hollywood, I’m sure there were tears, but Vergera knows that she is one hot commodity and won’t have a problem snagging herself up a good guy. And if Loeb has some cash, he’ll be just fine if he’s willing to spend it.
