Since I just wrote about Soulja Boy‘s tax woes and referenced that G5 Jet he was said to have purchased, I felt I had a duty to let you all know that apparently Soulja Boy just made the whole jet thing up.
Yup, so much for that fall-back plan I mentioned previously. So what gives?
TMZ is reporting that despite having directly claimed to have “G5 status” and telling TMZ “Hell yeah… I bought it” earlier this week, Soulja Boy does not, in fact own a $55 million jet.
Soulja’s “spokesperson” Greg Miller has issued a statement on behalf of the rapper to TMZ, saying the “elaborate rumors” are “not true.”
You know, forget about what Soulja and his assistant or Shai Storm, a member of his management team, said…. no jet. Nada.
