Are pregnancies getting longer these days because doesn’t it seem celebrities have had to endure the longest belly bumpage ever? Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm finally, yes FINALLY, after 9494958 months popped out a little baby. Good grief, I know Gwen’s pregnancy seemed to last forever and so did Nicole Ritchie’s, but Mel C‘s seemed to last a freakin’ coon’s age. But, I suppose eventually those little kiddies poos decide when they want to come out of the ole vadge. And, Mel’s baby chose Sunday February 22nd as the big day!

Mel announced on her official website, “Melanie C gave birth to a beautiful little girl at 4:10pm on Sunday February 22nd! Both mum and baby are doing well.” And the name of the little doll? Scarlet Starr, who weighed in at 8lb 3oz.
