Steve Jobs, cancer treatment
Apple CEO Steve Jobs is on another medical leave of absence from the company he co-founded and reportedly receiving treatment at the same cancer clinic where actor Patrick Swayze spent his final days.
RadarOnline confirmed the news that Jobs has been going to the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, California. Swayze received radical chemo for his pancreatic cancer at the same center just before his death in September 2009.
Jobs was photographed outside the clinic as he’s getting out of his car and it’s not known if his visits to the center are related to his liver transplant in 2009, or whether it is related to the pancreatic cancer he’s in remission from. Or, it could be a whole new problem entirely.
In mid-January, Jobs announced he was going on medical leave, issuing an email to his employees and saying he would “continue as CEO and be involved in major strategic decisions for the company.”
