Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher may have been cougar and cub for quite some time now, but one often wonders if those three kiddos of hers with Bruce would be enough for Ashton to handle in the kid department. I mean, wouldn’t he want a baby cougar cub of his very own?
Sarah Michelle Gellar hasn’t been out flaunting her baby bump much as of late, but we’re thinking she’s about to pop pretty dang soon. Sarah Michelle and her hubby Freddy Prinze are pretty quiet when it comes to their private lives, so it is no surprise that they have decided NOT to fill us all in on when they are expecting their little bundle of sweetness.
It’s joyful news in Backstreet land today…that is, if you aren’t one of those psychotic chicks or men who had an obsession for Backstreet Boy Howie D. And by psychotic I mean…instant flippage upon hearing of Howie’s marriage to his lovah Leigh because YOU were supposed to marry the Latino heart throb. Awww, I say…get over it. Just now as you have *maybe* gotten over the fact that Howard is happy and in love with a woman he has been with for EIGHT years…I now am estatic to relay some that he is going to be a papa. Woot, Woot! Backstreet SPERMINATION! Howie and Leigh dished out the baby details exclusively to People magazine.
HOWIE ON LEIGH AS A PARENT:
I know she’s going to be a great mother. If she can take care of me, the biggest baby in the entire world, I think she’s going to be okay with the little one coming along.”
LEIGH ON HOWIE AS A PARENT:
I think he’s going to be more hands-on than anyone expects. He’s someone who will get up in the night and change diapers. He’s such a partner of mine.
WHY THEY WAITED TO BECOME PARENTS:
Howie said, “We’ve been together going on eight years, but we wanted to enjoy and adjust to living married life first. So for the first eight months we traveled all over the world on an extended honeymoon.”
WHY HAVING THIS BABY WILL BE BITTERSWEET:
That kind of put things into perspective – passing on and bringing new life into the world. At that point we started focusing in on having a child. The baby is due the same month that my dad passed away last year, so it’s almost like realizing life is a circle.
HOW LEIGH BROKE THE PREGNANCY NEWS TO D.:
Leigh surprised me with breakfast in bed. [I knew] something was up. I looked down and saw the pregnancy test strip [on the tray]. The look on my face was like something from America’s Funniest Home Videos. I thought, ‘Oh my god! Here we go! This is it!’
HOW THE OTHER BOYS FEEL ABOUT THE BABY NEWS:
Surprised but very, very enthusiastic!
Little baby D. will join fellow Backstreet babies Baylee Littrell (6-year-old son of Brian Littrell) and Mason Richardson (son of ex-BSB member Kevin Richardson).
Congratulations to the parents-to-be! How cute will that little girl or boy be?!
What seemed to be the longest pregnancy in spermination history, Charlotte Church FINALLY popped out her fully developed fetus and named him Dexter. Dexter Lloyd Henson. That’s not so horrible, I guess. Better than Cherry Poppin’ Daddy or Poop Scoopin’ Panini. Dexter Lloyd for some reason sounds very “Back-To-The-Future-esque”. Christopher Lloyd…Dexter Lloyd…yep, there’s the connection. Dexter weighed in at 7lbs 15oz, a healthy little doot doot.
Charlotte’s birthing plan was to deliver her baby boy as naturally as possible and my oh my…big props to Charlotte for ix-naying on the meds…but, girlfriend used a birthing pool situation. What.is.the.point.of.a.birthing.pool? I understand the baby swims around in circles in the placenta, doing somersaults, back flips, etc…but when a birthing pool is present, is it assumed that the baby will come out part dolphin or part fish? Errr….
Wait one hot minute…I may just have to do some research here…perhaps Speedo-rific Michael Phelps was popped out into a birthing pool? Could Dexter L. Henson be the next Phelps-y? OMG!!! Maybe Charlotte knows more than I give her credit for!
Any day now we will be able to celebrate the birth of yet another spice baby. After mixing a little bit of salt, pepper and a hint of bucktooth, Mel C (aka Sporty Spice) will give birth to a presumably karate chopping high kicking fully grown son or daughter. (we kid) Girlfriend is pleasantly plump and there is no doubt Mel has been eating for two. Good for her!
Sporty is planning on keeping the sex of the child a big fat surprise saying, “I don’t know and I don’t want to know. In the end I do, obviously.” Well, duh, girlfriend!
We have our bets on a girl!

Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner are said to have become parents for the second time! The baby was born Tuesday in Los Angeles. No other details have been released.
Congratulations to the happy couple! (We are anxiously awaiting the unusual baby name. What will it be? Potato Fry? Pinky Tail? Bluebird Bobbysock?)

What seemed to be one of the longest pregnancies ever, Naomi Watts has finally popped that bun out of the oven. A spokesperson for Watts confirmed the baby-rific news to People, “I can confirm Naomi and Liev had a baby boy.” So that is boy number two for the Watts-Shreiber duo as they welcomed baby Alexander in April of 2007. No baby stats or name has yet been released.
At any rate, we send a big fat congratulations to the new parents!
P.S. Jennifer Garner…we await your little bundle now!
A source VERY VERY close to Mariah told my buddy JJ exclusively this morning that Mariah is at least one month pregnant and is on ‘cloud nine’ knowing she will soon be a mother.
I’m soooo happy for Mariah and Nick and wish them only the best…kind of disappointed about the cancelled tour, but happy for the baby news, nonetheless! So, we are potentially looking at an August baby????
