Is the good, wholesome, sweetie pie girl Carrie Underwood turning into country’s version of Rihanna? First the risque performance at the CMA’s and now Carrie is giving some attitude in a recent interview. While I do think Carrie Underwood is a phenomenal talent, her Cowboy Casanova performance on last night’s CMA’s was a bit unusual for the country crooner. For her stage presentation of her hit song, Underwood turned into Underwear as she flashed her sparkling coot coot to the country music fan audience. Since winning American Idol a few years back, Carrie Underwood is continuing to enjoy her reign on top. Not only has the blond songstress won FOUR Grammys among many other prominent awards, Underwood has earned a great amount of respect from her peers and fans. And bam, this November, you can expect a brand spankin’ new album with I am sure massive hits.
Whether you like it or not, Chris Brown is attempting a comeback after the nasty little beat down that happened last year. In fact, rumor has it that Chris Brown is recording an album AND he is attempting to record a country song. Yep, Chris Brown just may put on some chaps, squeeze into some Levi’s and hick it up for us all!
According to E! News, the reported country track Brown is working on is titled “Trapped in a Dream” and will possibly be listed in his upcoming new album.
To make his country presence even more reputable, it is also rumored that the woman beater may get a big name to join him for the track. Writer and producer Robert Allen says, “Maybe we’ll see an appearance from Carrie Underwood or someone like that. It’s that kind of song.”
So just what kind of song is it? Tell us Bobby! Mr. Allen reveals, “It’s just feeling like you don’t want that dream to go away. Everybody has a dream and you’re in it, but you wake up and you’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ You feel like you’re still in that dream.”
Wondering where Chris has been hiding out as of late? I’m assuming he’s been in the middle of a field riding atop a John Deere tractor.
Oh and Carrie Underwood or any other female considering doing a duet with Brown in the near future…PLEASE, please, PLEASE WEAR body armor. Kthanks.
Very few American Idol alums make it very far after their season is a done deal. For gawd’s sake look at velvet teddy bear Ruben Studdard. He won Season Two of Idol and just got dropped from his record label. Yay, right? Perhaps Reuben would have been better off being blonde and beautiful like Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler or…Kimberly Caldwell, aka the female Ryan Seacrest?
At any rate, Kimberly is making herself a name by working hard and being cute. If you are one of those boob tube channel flickers, it is quite possible that you have made a pit stop on the TV Guide channel and have seen Kimberly. Not only that but home girl is a spokesperson for YMI jeans, the host of MTV competition Diddy’s “Starmaker”, working on a solo album, but she is also said to be getting her own Seacrest-produced reality show, tentatively titled “Crashing With the Caldwells”.
Kim told a source, “It’ll follow everything from me in the studio recording to having my sisters live with me. Right now, there are no boys in the picture and I like it like that — I need to focus!”
Expect to see plenty of Kimberly Caldwell, whether you like it or not, bitches!
Last night brought out the who’s who in country music, as well as some peeps who simply didn’t fit in but went because perhaps they had an invite?
