Katy Perry stunned in her first official appearance since Russell Brand filed for divorce in late September. Us Weekly reports that she  and her friend jewelry designer Markus Molinari, attended the GiveLove event at 1Oak in Las Vegas Friday night.

“I told her about the cause and she wanted to support it,” Molinari said of Katy. “We support each other and that’s what friends do.”

Katy rocked a bright blue do, as well as a form-fitting and beautiful little black dress.  ”She was very bubbly and happy looking,” a partygoer noticed.

Proceeds from the event benefit GiveLove‘s efforts “to provide temporary housing solutions and sanitation systems in earthquake-stricken Haiti.” Definitely a great cause to contribute to! Other stars who came out to show support were  90210‘s Shenae Grimes, Paris Hilton, Mehcad Brooks and DJ Mia Moretti.

It’s good to see Katy out and about. She looked absolutely amazing, and I’m glad to see she had a good time at the event. No need to let some measly man continue to get you down. I never liked her and Russell together really anyway, to be honest.
