After several attempts of proposals, David Hasselhoff and his girlfriend Hayley Roberts may finally be engaged.

The former Baywatch star apparently has been damn desperate to get his Welsh girlfriend (whom he has been dating early last year) to marry him, but she obviously turned him down.

Hasselhoff took his woman to the famouse Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia and dropped down to his knee to ask Roberts for her hand in marriage. At least, we think he was serious?

Hoff posted the photos on his Twitter page with the following words: “Tried it again on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!”

He added another photo of the couple engaging in a passionate kiss with the caption, “What do you think she said!?!?!”

All I know is that I find it hard to believe this girl is really madly in love with the Hoff for his Hoff-like ways. And REALLY, does the guy have THAT big of a bank account? I am willing to bet that Hoff’s sloppy way of eating cheeseburgers isn’t exactly the deal sealer either. So what is the appeal factor?

This would be the THIRD marriage for the Hoff as he was previously married to Catherine Hickland and Pamela Bach, the mother of his two grown-up daughters.
