Adam Lambert To Win Idol?

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

adam

Well, bitches…Sportsbook.com is at it again…making their crazy and (sometimes) accurate predictions. Yesterday we shared Sportsbook.com’s thoughts on DWTS…today we dish Idol. And, Sportsbook.com chooses Adam Lambert to win the title.

Whether you like it or not, the musical chameleon on Idol, Adam Lambert has adapted well to each week of the selected genre during show time. The pretty boy’s looks seem to add an additional appeal to Adam’s chances of bringing home the Idol title.

Tonight we will see whether Adam can tackle a song by the Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin or Sammy Davis Jr.) and I wonder if the Los Angeles singer will once again be dubbed as “brilliant” by the judges.

According to Sportsbook.com, the only real threats to Lambert’s throne could be charming everyman Danny Gokey (3-to-1) and teen dream Kris Allen (5-to-1). Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud are slotted for the bottom two.

Gotta love these predictions…even though the finalists haven’t even performed yet, anything is possible!

So what do YOU think?

Zac Efron Would Win Fear Factor

If you think Zac Efron is sexy now, I have some even more sexy news for you to take into consideration. Not only does Zac have those piercing baby blues and that greasy flip-floppy hair, but if he were to take you on a dinner date…you would probably throw up. Or on a positive note, if the movie career doesn’t pan out a couple years from now, he should consider a reality show gig on “Fear Factor”.

Why, you ask? Apparently, Zac enjoys eating nasty shiznit…like bugs and slimy seafood.

Zac admits, “In Mexico I had crickets… It’s like a dish over there… It was like the most expensive thing on the menu. And also they have larvae, the flies… It’s great, it’s really good. It’s lemon and salt. It tasted like pasta.” Oh, I thought for sure that crapola would have tasted like chicken.

And he has his father to thank for his nasty eating habits.

“My dad always took me to get sushi and one time we were in San Francisco… and there was this octopus – it was, like, alive, wiggling on the plate. My dad was all, ‘I’ll give you $20 if you eat that.’ I was like, ‘Bring it on, man.’ So I ate it. It was like a cherry tomato. It popped. It was great… I’d still eat about anything for $20.”

Ummm, anything???

Naomi Watts Still Hurts From The Loss Of Her Ex Heath Ledger.

I must admit, since Heath’s tragic death, I’ve been waiting ever so patiently for Naomi Watts to give us the dish. Naomi and Heath seemed like an awkward match to me, as I preferred Michelle Williams MUCH better, but let’s face it…there is something about co-star lovin’ and sexy time…thus the Naomi Watts-Heath Ledger connection. The duo met on the set of Ned Kelly in 2002 and dated until Spring of 2004. In the new issue of Parade, Naomi delves a little bit in her personal life, but doesn’t go as deep as we want her too. Oh well…we’ll live with it. Check out some of the highlights of the Naomi Watts-Parade interview below.

ON BEING THE AUDITION REJECT:

It was awful. Be the pretty girl, the funny girl, the sexy girl, be whatever it was they wanted. You get to a point where you’ve become that person for that day, and you dilute your personality to the point where it’s actually nonexistent. You walk into a room, and you don’t know who you are or who you should be, and they can’t connect with you because it’s not a truth.

ON HER BFF NICOLE’S ENCOURAGING WORDS:

I remember many times saying, ‘Oh, I just can’t do it. I’m going to wrap it up and call it a day.’ And Nicole would say, ‘Hang in there.’ She told me that it just takes one thing—and she was right in the end.

ON MEETING HER EVENTUAL BOYFRIEND HEATH LEDGER:

I hadn’t really been that familiar with his work. Then, when I got to the set and did that first scene with him, I was like, ‘Wow! This guy is alive.’ It was just something deep in his eyes. You could look into them, and they would tell a thousand stories in one glance. There was a wonderful mixture of power and fragility at work in everything he did, which just pulls you in. His strength didn’t scare you. It intrigued you. And his fragility touched you.

ON LOSING HEATH:

It’s still incredibly difficult.

ON HER NEW FIANCEE LIEV SCHREIBER:

I started out living in L.A., and then I met this guy who hates L.A.! He’s a complicated man, which I’ve always been drawn toward in men. He’s fiercely intelligent.

ON SEALING THE DEAL:

It’s not like I’ve grown up having this dream of a fairy-tale wedding. My mother married twice and had two divorces. And Liev comes from the same kind of background. Maybe one day we’ll just wake up and go, ‘Hey, let’s do this.’ And maybe not. He and I have a family. We’re very much together. We just don’t have that certificate, and that’s okay with both of us. He gave me a beautiful ring, although I’m not wearing it right now.
