And with a blink of an eye Elisabetta Canalis and Mehcad Brooks have split. It is a break up that isn’t exactly surprising considering Canalis hooked up with the True Blood star a la rebound after an unsuccessful attempt at taming the seemingly forever Playboy George Clooney.
So what went wrong? If you guessed George Clooney, you are right.

The reality is that dating disasters even happen to the rich and famous, but they have the added angle of being in the public eye during their terrible dates. Also, if they’re already famous, how do they know the other person truly cares about them or if they want a bit of fame? Take a look at some of these celebrity dating disasters.
Don’t mess with George Clooney when he’s in a huff, especially when mace is involved. Apparently, the New York Police Department has Clooney’s panties twisted hardcore, but for a good reason. Clooney is a tad ticked that the cops are using mace on protesters who are protesting at a rally peacefully.

Sure Elisabetta Canalis is a model and now a DWTS contestant, but she will always be known as one of George Clooney’s girlfriends. And let’s face it, she has to be upset that she wasn’t able to get the lifelong playboy to commit to a possible husband-wife situation. She was pretty damn close, but not enough to get Clooney to pop the question.
And now she lives a moment of heart break.

This may have been the last happy photo we have of George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis together. And man, she sure as hell doesn’t look too happy. It’s like she knows this is her final minute of her fifteen minutes of fame. Tear.
I am hearing that George has given Elisabeth a swift kick in the pants and out the door. Sad for her. But, good grief, it is about time. Georgie Porgie has been dating the model since July and damn, that is just too long of a relationship with the Cloon-ster. Don’t ya think?
