At the 2012 SAG Awards, gorgeous, glowing celebs garnered lots of attention for their gowns, fabulous jewels and accessories, but what really pulled their looks together is a great hair and makeup pairing. As we saw from celebs like Rose Byrnes to Glenn Close, classic styles are making a come-back on the red carpet.

Are you getting tired of your “go to” hairstyles? Feeling like you need to change it up? Sometimes our beloved flat irons and curling irons need to take a break. I’m always looking for different hairstyles that are easy to do but still looked polished and put together. The perfect hairstyle I have found that literally takes 30 seconds to do is… the loose side braid! There are many different looks you can do with a braid: You have your traditional braid, fish tail braid, braid down the back, braid to the side, loose casual braids, uptight braids etc.
So many times I’ve heard women say they couldn’t go to the gym and sweat because they didn’t have time to do their hair afterwards (I may have been guilty of this a time or two)! What I now know is that all we needed was some dry shampoo! Dry shampoo comes in an aerosol can that is sprayed directly onto dirty and/or oily hair.

Vanessa Hudgens’ short butch hair cut doesn’t actually look that bad when she does it up Old Hollywood style. The brand’s 2011 spokesperson attended the Candie’s 2011 MTV VMA after party at The Colony looking classy in her silver gown and her swept back hairstyle.
Candie’s tweeted the following via Twitter, “Vanessa inside the action-oh how sweet it is”
