Gwyneth Goes GOOP On A Frenemy!

Gwyneth Paltrow must have a visit from Aunt Flow, really has some deep anger issues or has been hanging around Madge and her vadge too long! Or perhaps all of the above would be the more appropriate choice.

If you are familiar with Gwynnie’s GOOP, then you know that her site is a bit boring. However, Gwynnie has decided to spice her site up a bit by starting up some drama!

Gwynnie wrote, “Back in the day, I had a ‘frenemy’ who, as it turned out, was pretty hell-bent on taking me down. This person really did what they could to hurt me. I was deeply upset, I was angry, I was all of those things you feel when you find out that someone you thought you liked was venomous and dangerous.”

“I restrained myself from fighting back. I tried to take the high road. But one day I heard that something unfortunate and humiliating had happened to this person. And my reaction was deep relief and…happiness.”

So who could Miss Gwynnie be trash-talking about? Many magazines have pinpointed Gwynnie’s former BFF Winona Ryder as the “frenemy”.

Natasha Bedingfeld’s Not-So-Sexy Proposal

As a female when you get a proposal, you expect it to be straight out of a Harlequin novel. Am I not right, ladies? Ok, so maybe not a Harlequin novel, but you expect it to be well-planned and damn good. Natasha Bedingfield’s husband tried to make it good, but he didn’t have a Plan B. Remember what we said about Plan B’s? Yeah, exactly.

Instead of a romantic boat ride proposal, Natasha got a boat ride filled with thunder, lightening and rain…and lots of it.

On a lake in New York’s Central Park back in September, Natasha’s man did not check the Weather Channel or listen to Al Roker’s forecast because their engagement happiness was dampened by heavy rain.

Natasha dishes on her not-so-sexy proposal moment to Hello magazine. “We went out on the lake in a boat and the sky got darker and darker. He said such beautiful things. It was just like in a movie. My dress was completely drenched. And he had that beautiful ring that he picked out himself. We were yelling, ‘I love you’ at each other in the rain.”

Oh well, they’ll have a pretty wicky wild story to tell their children and grandchildren one day, right?

Superwoman Salma!

Newly married Salma Hayek is busier than ever keeping her new husband happy, balancing her movie career, volunteering and heading the one-packa-pampers campaign, keeping her baby girl Valentina satisfied AND maintaining her fashionable self. OH…AND you mustn’t forget whipping out her ta-tas when a hungry baby is in dire need of nutrients. Salma does it all! So it should come as no surprise that she was able to squeeze in a photo shoot for the cover of April’s InStyle magazine. Check out some of the fabulous answers Salma gave when InStyle challenged her to some lifestyle and fashion questions.

HER NUMBER ONE BEAUTY TIP:

Never go to sleep without washing your face, no matter how tired you are.

ON THE MOST SURPRISING THING ABOUT MOTHERHOOD:

I don’t know if it’s motherhood that’s surprising or that Valentina is so surprising. I am in awe of her—she’s very magical. I feel so connected to her but at the same time I discover something new about her every day.

ON WHAT SUPERPOWER SHE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE:

The power to make people be kind to each other. Actually, I stole that answer from a friend!

HER FAVORITE COLOR:

I went through my purple phase—maybe a bit too much! I also like reds and blues. Right now, I think it’s midnight blue.

ON THE MOST COLORFUL CHARACTER SHE’S PLAYED:

Frida [Kahlo] for sure. There was a lot of happiness and celebration in that life. Even in her paintings of tragic things there is humor, there’s always color. She was full of life.

ON WHETHER SHE FOLLOWS ANY STYLE RULES:

I follow them not because they’re a rule but because some of them make sense. Like you don’t want to wear white to a wedding. You should let the bride be the one in white.

John Mayer And Jennifer Aniston, The PR Whores

Even though he is somewhat of a douche-bag it is empowering to know that Jennifer Aniston has found happiness again with the new love of her life, John Mayer. I surely do not believe that she is truly happy, especially after seeing this In Touch cover. I mean, for gawd’s sake, all that smiling on stage during her Oscar presentation wasn’t for John or Angelina…it was for Brad? Oh Em Gee, seriously?

So what I can infer from this cover and story is that Jennifer still pines for Brad and wants Brad to know that secretly she still wants to mother his children and punch “uncool” Angelina in the hoo hah.
