We just recently heard that Madonna is set to perform for the Super Bowl this year, but the Catholic League is trying to get Madge banned from doing so. And they are making it seem like a threat. Bill Donohue, who I am assuming is part of this Catholic League sent a letter to the NFL basically saying that they “would do well to drop any plans it may have about having Madonna perform during the Super Bowl.”
And the reason for that would be…? What do they think Madge is going to curse God during one of her songs? Is she going to whip out a boobie for all to see? And what does the Catholic League have to do with football, overindulging of beer, pizza, snacks and a halftime performance?
