Jennifer Hudson Opens Up About Her Mother’s Death

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Wow, what a difficult year it has been for Jennifer Hudson. But let me tell you…she has dealt with her unfortunate life tragedies publicly with class and extreme strength. In the June issue of Essence, Jennifer speaks for the first time about her mother, Darnell Donerson’s death. While her fiancee has been a great ear and shoulder to cry on, Jennifer’s biggest safe haven throughout has been her faith.

She tells Essence magazine, “The thing that keeps me going is knowing that God is in control. It’s like, if he placed me here then I must be prepared.”

And from what it sounds like, having a man like David Otunga in her life has been a blessing. “He is such a gentlemen. I sit in the car waiting because I can’t touch the door. I am not allowed!” Good for her! Those kind of men are hard to find!

Recalling her relationship with her mother, Jennifer adds, “I was always a mama’s baby. I’d go and sleep in her bed until I was 15 years old.”

J-Hud Is Just Fat

The rumors were running rampant this week as two close “sources” told Essence Magazine that the lovely Jennifer Hudson is expecting a baby with her fiancee David Otunga. Well, bitches…the truth is, she isn’t knocked up. She just stopped over at Over-Fed’s abode for a TEN course meal.

J-Hud’s representative has dismissed the baby news, telling TheCelebrityTruth.com that there is “no, no, no, no way” the rumors are true.

Apparently the two AREN’T having sex until they are married. And from what I’ve heard you actually have to do the tango in order to get implanted with an embryo.

“Musicares” To Honor Neil Diamond Tonight

Friday, February 6th, 2009

music14

It’s that special time of year again…The Grammys…and I cannot be more excited. Yesterday started off a slew of activities in the fabulous celebration of music, with some big name celebrities offering their John Hancock on items for the annual Musicares Grammy auctions.

This year’s Musicares honoree is the Sweet Caroline singer Neil Diamond, who I must say, is pretty damn cool for a guy with saggy balls. Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, Jennifer Hudson and Jonas Brothers will be honoring the big Neil TONIGHT with a celebration of Neil’s music by performing their own rendition of Neil’s hits for charity.

“It’s a double-whammy. I get a chance to help raise a lot of money and a little plaque that says, `Hey, you’re OK.’ I love the idea of other people singing my songs. They’ll do it their own way. I let them pick whichever ones they wanted.”

It’s about damn time big Neil gets honored! Can you imagine how many times this man has sung “Sweet Caroline”? Give this man a break…maybe he doesn’t think Caroline isn’t so sweet anymore.
