Kirk Cameron equates Stephen Hawking to John Lennon?
We all remember Kirk Cameron, yes? You know, actor and one time teen heartthrob on the 80s sitcom ‘Growing Pains’ whose best friend on the show was named Boner? Real life brother to Candace Cameron, perhaps better known as DJ Tanner? You get the point.
Anyway, for whatever reason he has decided to expand on his previous ‘bananas prove God’ theory and respond to scientist Stephen Hawking, who recently made waves for his claim that Heaven is simply a “Fairy story for people afraid of the dark.” Given that Kirk is an uber outspoken Evangelical Christian, it’s not surprising to hear he struck back…
What is surprising, is how he responded to Hawking and how he managed to equate Stephen Hawking with John Lennon in the process…
