Is that Massive Ring on Jordin Sparks’ finger from Jason Derulo?!

Are Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks engaged?

Cripes. When I look at these pictures, I see one big fat ring on THAT finger and that sure as heck is not her purity ring. And Miss Jordin doesn’t seem to be hiding it either.

So now that Derulo busted his neck and he has been having to lay low at home and recover, has his down time allowed him to get so close to Sparks that he wants to take their relationship to the next level?

Well last night, the cuties were spotted hanging out at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix looking awfully cuddly and close.

Even though we don’t know what kind of ring that is and why she is wearing it on THAT finger, we do know why she doesn’t wear the purity ring all of the time.

Sparks recently told the Today Show, “We were just being acquaintances but he just kind of came out of left field and swept me off my feet. I’m quite smitten with the guy, I must say. I don’t wear it (the purity ring) exactly everyday anymore but I always have something there. When I was 13 my mom spoke to me about purity and waiting for marriage and different things like that. And, you know, at the time I was like, ‘Sure that’s great,’ but I can’t say what’s gonna happen a couple of months from now. People grow”.

OMG, can you imagine the cute babies these two would have? Just sayin!

Rihanna, Vivica A Fox, Jordin Sparks, Willow Smith for Whitney Houston Biopic?

We had reported last week that Meagan Good was a frontrunner for a lead role in a Whitney Houston biopic. Heck, the girl was approached by Whitney herself! So why wouldn’t she get the role if that is what Houston would have wanted?

Well The Daily Mail is saying that RiRi, Vivica A. Fox, Jordin Sparks, Jennifer Hudson AND Willow Smith are being considered to play a role of Whitney Houston in a biopic that is said to be taken control of by Clive Davis. And from what we are hearing, Clive wants to get this project going as soon as possible.

Willow Smith could certainly land the role as a young Whitney, but who would take on the young adult Whitney and the grown Whitney? There’s going to be some heavy competition for those roles. TRUST!

Last week, Meagan Good confirmed to E! Online that she was a frontrunner to play the late great saying, “We were fairly in the beginning stages … We were supposed to meet today, actually.”

No offense to RiRi because I love her to death, but I don’t think she could nail a Whitney Houston portrayal.

So who would you like to play Whitney Houston in a biopic?

Jordin Sparks Pays Tribute to Whitney Houston

Jordin Sparks took the stage at Essence magazine’s Black Women in Hollywood to honor her late “Sparkle” co-star and idol Whitney Houston.

Before Sparks performed one of the songs from their upcoming moving she told the audience, “She went from being this unreachable supernova pop star to my co-star to my friend.”

Of her tribute for Whitney, Sparks told Access Hollywood, “I’m being a part of the tribute for Whitney, I was already going to do it and sing a song from the movie… and then all the recent events happened and now I’m going to be singing a song that she actually sang but is also in the movie…It makes me very emotional. I looked up to her, I sang her songs, and then I met her face-to-face and she was so kind, she was so sweet. I am just very blessed to have got to know her for the short time that I did. She was incredible.”

Other big names that attended the event at the Beverly Hills Hotel included: Octavia Spencer, Kerry Washington, Paula Patton, Pam Grier and Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rimes, who were all honored for their work.
