Julia Roberts was America’s Sweetheart, but is she still? Pffft. I’m not so sure about that since Reese Witherspoon seemed to take over that title a couple of years ago. So Julia popped out a couple kids, laid low and kept her presence minimal with those damn, annoying Ocean’s (Ocean’s 11, 12, 13, etc.) movies. However, if Julia would quit making those damn Ocean’s movies perhaps she could regain her reign? With Duplicity (coming out this weekend), Julia tries to do just that and she and Clive Owen (her co-star) even throw some sexy time scenes in there to make things a little saucy. HOLLA!
Julia said, “I don’t do bedroom scenes as much as [Clive] does! Let’s just say that. I think for me it really has to do with that we laugh at the same things. We didn’t have all of our clothes off either people – come on, it’s a movie.”
So, will this movie be the one movie to bring Julia back into the game?

Julia Ghoul-iah Roberts is back to grace the big screen with that infectious smile, teaming up once again with Clive Owen. This time Julia and Clive play two corporate spies with a romantic history who team up to pull off a con…think “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” meets “Ocean’s Eleven”. I’m having a hard time envisioning Julia as an ex-CIA agent, but from viewing the trailer the movie definitely looks like a must-see film.
As long as I have plenty of popcorn and a diet coke, I’m all for a new Roberts-Owen tag team! Woot, woot!
