And how could you forget those lovey dovey looks and annoying love pats behind stage as they received their scores from the judges? Gag me. Perhaps this was the perfect time for Julianne Hough to leave “Dancing With The Stars”…because in addition to her honky-tonkin’ music career, home girl is said to be a HOT commodity in Hollywood.
According to EW, Miss Hough is in the running to star opposite Christina Aguilera in the contemporary musical Burlesque for writer-director Steven Antin. The production company would NOT confirm this news, however, it would only make sense for a fabulous dancer like Julianne to join the cast as a burlesque dancer.
Hold on, bitches…that is not all. If Burlesque turns out to be a no go, sources have confirmed that Julianne auditioned to co-star opposite Chace Crawford in Footloose for Paramount. According to the studio, no casting decision has been made, but there is a strong chance that Julianne is one of the top choices for the role.
Blonde hair, blue eyes and gorgeous? We are thinking that Miss Julianne is going to be just fine in Hollywood!

While many of us believed Melissa Rycroft would be sent home packing on last night’s “Dancing With The Stars” results show, the unexpected happened. Melissa’s cult-like following must have sat on their phones dialing and texting tirelessly on Monday evening to rally around the injured reality star. Instead, country crooner Chuck Wicks was forced to say goodbye to the “Dancing With The Stars” ballroom.
The country singer and his real-life boot knocker and professional dance partner Julianne Hough were eliminated from the ABC dance-off Tuesday. So sad. Despite having had continually improved throughout the season, fans failed to keep him in the game.
Either way, Chuck still wins. People now KNOW who Chuck Wicks is and maybe will start buying his records?
“Dancing With the Stars’ Julianne Hough says she may be hanging up her dancing shoes for good. ‘I won’t be on Dancing this spring season. I don’t know about the fall. Maybe, maybe not. We’ll see…I really, really want to focus on the music and, ya know, be taken seriously a little bit. And I think it’s hard to be on [Dancing] and be singing.” Ok, Joaquin-Phoenix-Angelina-Jolie-Nicole-Kidman wannabe. We kid. Do what you gotta do, honey.
