If I was a legendary singer, my first dream collaboration wouldn’t be with Katy Perry. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Katy Kat, but there are many singers out there that would be above her on my list…especially if I was Stevie Nicks. Yeah, Stevie wants to duet with Katy because she is a huge fan of hers.
It was an eventful night at the Video Music Awards especially for Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Adele, all of whom felt the joy of their name being called for the win more than once.
While accepting the award alongside Kanye West for their collaboration on E.T., Katy Perry made a referral back to last year’s Kanye-Taylor Swift moment. Come on and how could she not? Perry told West, “Now this is the time when you want to interrupt me, Kanye!”
Adele’s production crew should feel damn proud for their participation in Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” as the song not only took home an award for editing but also art direction and cinematography.
The “big” (if you can call any of the MTV awards that) win was for Video of the Year which went to Katy Perry for “Firework”.
