Sharon Stone Sued by Ex-Nanny

Reason #23456 it’s hard to be a celebrity? Lawsuits. In the latest Hollywood lawsuit, Erlinda Elemen, Sharon Stone’s former nanny, alleges labor violations and derogatory comments related to her ethnicity.

Yikes!

RadarOnline.com reports that the former nanny claims she began working for Stone as an assistant nanny to take care of one of the actresses’ three children, but got promoted to lead nanny 2008.

Okay, let’s stop for a second and process the fact that Sharon Stone needs so many nannies for her three kids that there is a “lead nanny” and “assistant nannies.” Really? How busy was she in 2008, or ever outside of the ’90s that she needed that much help? I mean, really?

The former nanny says she moved into Stone’s house in 2008 and began traveling extensively with the actress and the children until she was terminated in 2011.

The lawsuit states that Stone made some not-so-nice comments about Elemen’s Filipino accent and heritage and told her not to talk to them because she didn’t want her children to “talk like you.”

Elemen also a alleges that Stone said Filipino people were “stupid” and wouldn’t let her have a bible in the house.

Then, the former nanny says that Stone would have her work 7 days a week at times but Stone accused her of “stealing” because she received overtime pay and went so far as to demand Elemen pay her back.

According to Elemen, Stone reduced her hours and pay and fired her for no reason in 2011. Elemen’s lawyer, Soloman Gresen said in a statement, “Because abuses in overtime pay are common for household employees it seems ironic that Ms. Stone initially did the right thing and paid Mrs. Elemen overtime wages and then terminated her for not accepting those same wages.”

Gabriela Cedillo may have come to an $18.5 million settlement with Paramount Pictures due to the result of life-changing injuries she sustained while an extra on the set of the 2011 blockbuster, Transformers 3, but that doesn’t matter, because her attorney is still in an uproar about it all- calling the production company “pretty pathetic.”

RadarOnline.com has an exclusive photo of Gabriela after her latest surgery, and spoke with Gabriela’s lawyer, Todd A. Smith.

“This victory came with a lot of effort against a company that claimed to the media that they would make the effort to take care of Gabby and her medical bills, when in reality they tried to do everything they could to avoid responsibility,” Smith tells Radar.

“They were busy grossing about a billion dollars off the movie, and they can’t step up to the plate to pay about $700,000? The taxpayers of Illinois ended up having to pay the bills for the damage that was done. That’s pretty pathetic, in my opinion.”

Apparently those hefty medical bills eventually forced her family onto Medical Aid, and while she’s been released from the hospital, she continues to attend regular rehab treatments and undergoes surgeries.

“We’re hopeful that she will continue to improve. However, after the two-year period with a brain injury, doctors predict you’ve usually maximized your recovery potential,” Smith says. “The reality is that she’s unlikely to ever have substantial employment.”

On the very first day of the Hudson family murder trial, prosecutors wasted no time in getting the star witnesses on the stand, calling Jennifer Hudson and her sister Julia to the stand. The sisters testified against Julia’s ex-husband William Balfour, who is accused of murdering Jennifer’s mother, Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson, and 7-year-old nephew (Julia’s son) Julian.

Jennifer testified first, claiming that she had feared for her sister and warned her not to marry Balfour repeatedly. The singer, who broke down in tears while on the stand, said that “we did not like how he treated her.” A week before the murder, her entire family made a surprise visit to her home, which turned out to be the last time Jennifer saw them alive.  ”Thank God I had the opportunity,” she said in tears.

Julia testified shortly after, stating that her  ex-husband threatened to kill her between “24 and 26″ times during the course of their marriage out of fear that she would leave him. The two were still married at the time of the killings and their divorce was finalized earlier this month. At one point, Balfour threatened the family as well, saying ”Julia, if you leave me, I will kill you. I will kill your family first and you will be the last to die.”

The trial is expected to last four weeks.

I’m not sure if Balfour will be sentenced to the death penalty, but, if not, I hope that they put this man in jail for life! I remember the tragedy in 2008, right when Jennifer was really breaking out into her own in terms of her music and acting. Of course, a tragedy like this would be terrible and heartbreaking at any time, but to have that happen right at the height of your glory like that is even worse. I sincerely am keeping Jennifer, Julia, and their family in my thoughts at this time.

Bobbi Kristina Inherits All of Whitney Houston’s Fortune and Property

Before her untimely passing on February 11, Whitney Houston made plans to take care of her daughter Bobbi Kristina in case she wasn’t around.Whitney amended her will on April 14, 2000, leaving Bobbi Kristina, now 19, everything she owned. Bobbi Kris will inherit her mother’s money, furniture, clothing, personal effects, jewelry and cars. Inside Edition obtained the 19-page will that laid out Whitney’s plans.

The money will be placed in a trust until Bobbi Kristina turns 21 in 2014. She will receive additional money when she turns 25, and will be given access to the rest of Whitney’s fortune when she turns 30.

Whitney’s mother Cissy is the executor of the will, while Whitney’s brother Michael and sister-in-law Donna are the trustees. While the singer’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown, is mentioned in the will, he won’t be getting anything.  The will stated if Bobbi Kristina had died before Whitney, Bobby, Cissy, and other relatives would share the assets.

Whitney had first drafted a will on February 3, 1993 — exactly one month before she gave birth to Bobbi Kristina.

While family wants to keep her out of the spotlight, Bobbi Kristina will open up for the first time about her mother’s death on an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter, airing on Oprah Winfrey’s channel OWN  this Friday, March 9 at 9 p.m. EST. ”[Bobbi Kristina] idolized Whitney,” a source previously told Us Weekly. “She was always by her side in everything she did.”

I’m really excited to watch Oprah’s interview with Bobbi Kristina. While talking about her mother will be an emotional topic, many want to see her and hear her speak about her memories with Whitney. I’m actually surprised that she is doing an interview, especially so soon after Whitney’s passing, but at least with Oprah, it will be done with taste and integrity.

REPORT: Chris Brown Snatches a Fan’s Cell Phone at a Club

Sighhhh….Christopher, you just don’t learn. After a fan took a photo of him outside of the  South Beach club Cameo, Chris Brown allegedly snatched her phone, telling her, “Bitch, you ain’t gonna put that on no website.”

According to NBC, Christal Spann, a 24-year-old Miami woman, told police that she was inside Cameo early Sunday morning when she saw Chris and rapper Tyga leaving the nightclub through a side door. She and her fans followed the artists outside, and Spann took a picture of him with her iPhone while he was sitting in his car. After snatching the phone, he rolled up his window, and drove off!

Police responded at 4:43 a.m. They listed the offense as a “robbery by sudden snatching,” and said the incident would be further investigated.

Police said the state attorney’s office is preparing the arrest warrant for Chris. Tyga wasn’t implicated, they said. The state attorney’s office wouldn’t comment on the case, and Chris couldn’t be reached for comment.

Really Chris? Really? If this is really true, you aren’t helping yourself at all. People are already freaking out over you reuniting with Rihanna on your remixes for “Birthday Cake” and “Turn Up The Music.” And now, you snatch some girl’s phone, and drive off with it? I love you Chris, but you got to get your anger IN CHECK.

Redmond O’Neal arrested again!

Oh man. What a crappy deal. Redmond O’Neal just can’t keep himself outta trouble. On Tuesday just before 9 in the morning in Santa Monica, Redmond got stopped for running a red light.

But THAT is not why he got arrested. Radaronline.com is reporting that the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, got searched and heroin was found.

Jude Law probably would rather get his ass kicked than call the po po to help him out. Apparently Law has a fear that his trouble will be leaked to the press. And yes, it has happened a couple of times, but he’s got damn sick of it.

And I get that, but why risk your life just because you don’t want the info to be public?

Lindsay Lohan is FREE at last…

Today was Lindsay Lohan’s last day of house arrest, ending her 35 days of torture at her Venice Beach pad.

Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s department, confirms that Freckles’ electronic monitoring equipment was removed shortly before 10 a.m. and she was removed from the jail system around 10:20 a.m.

Hulk Hogan’s Son Goes To Jail.

Nick Bollea, son of pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan, was sentenced today for the car crash that left his best friend (who was the passenger) critically injured and in a coma.  An important note is that he was driving under the influence.  Not smart at all.  So, here’s the lowdown on Nick’s punishment:

8 months in jail to be served immediately

Five years of probation

Loss of driving privileges for three years

Nick was overjoyed with the punishment he received as he could have gotten 5 years in jail.

Umm…yeah and I’m also sure he’s excited for the nightly dinners of soy burgers and rubbery chicken.  Yummy!  Enough to make me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Nick, I hope you spend time thinking about what you’ve done and most importantly, don’t DROP the soap!

Today Britney Spears was ordered by the courts to pay more than $372,000 in legal fees to her lawyers representing her in her legal custody battle with K-Fed. It has been reported that this custody battle has cost Britney over $1 million so far. Insane!

Instead of indulging in Cheetos and In-And-Out Burger to deal with this blow to her bankroll, Britney is spending a lot of her time sweating it out at Bally’s Total Fitness. According to a source, Britney may be in talks to endorse Bally Total Fitness once she gets her former buff body back.
