Movie Review: Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past

To keep my attention completely focused on a movie, it better be good. I have what some may call if-there-are-no-popcorn-or-snacks-and-the-movie-is-even-in-the-slightest-lame-off-it-goes syndrome. But, there are a few exceptions. If the movie features hottie Matthew McConaughey-hey, I’m all for it because quite frankly if the movie is a shame then at least I have my number one celebrity man crush to feast my eyes on.

Now considering I realize that Mr. McConaughey is a freakin’ genius when it comes to playing a cocky womanizing hunk in romantic comedies, I expected no less in the cleverly titled “Ghost of Girlfriends Past”.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves To Wed?

Well, sadly, if you had dreams of marrying Matthew McConaughey, unless you are Camila Alves you can forget it.

In regards to the Matthew McConaughey Camila Alves wedding, a source says, “Camila was fine about not being married when they had their first child, son Levi, a year ago, but she wants a ring on her finger before their next baby arrives.”

And even though Matthew had once said he didn’t believe in marriage he apparently has “immediately agreed to Camila’s request. Having his son has changed his priorities in life. Matthew’s been with Camila for more than two years and by January he’s going to be a dad for the second time. He feels it’s time to give up bachelorhood.”

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves’ oldest child, son Levi Alves McConaughey, was born in July 2008. And just late last month, the couple announced they are expecting a second baby. We are guessing a Matthew McConaughey Camila Alves wedding will be a beach setting and very low key. But…bring your own beer, bitches!

Matthew McConaughey Camilla Alves Pregnant!

Well, bitches, Matthew McConaughey has super sperm! The beach boy and his girlfriend of two years are knocked up again!

With baby number two on the way, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves couldn’t wait to share their news with their fans.

On his official website McConaughey writes,

“Happy Father’s Day. It’s my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date. We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father’s Day that [will] make this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother… Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows…. just keep livin, Matthew and Camila.”

Matthew and Camila welcomed their first child together, Levi, in July of 2008. Congratulations to these two!

Yay Or Nay: Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner is back in the lime light once again for something other than her kids. The wife of Ben Affleck is on a mission to promote her new flick “Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past”, which co-stars hunka hunka non-deodorant-wearing Matthew McConaughey-hey. At the premiere last night, Jennifer chose a black tent-like frock to dazzle in and today she also chose a black dress for her David Letterman promotional stop. Now while black is considered a very slimming color, perhaps Jen could have selected something a little more cheerful? Or is playing it “safe” Jen’s best bet?

Matthew And His Baby Mama Are Hicks!

I think fatherhood has done a number on one of my favorite male celebrities. Matthew McConaughey-hey is looking wrinkly, less muscular and more like a country bumpkin who lives in an airstream trailer on a random beach. Ummmm, yeah. Last night, Matt took his baby mama Camila Alves on a little date to the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.

A country bumpkin brown leather blazer, a country bumpkin white button-up shirt with country bumpkin light wash jeans and a country bumpkin J.K. Livin belt covers Matthew’s once sizzlin’ bod. Unless he can prove me wrong, I might be over him. I mean, c’mon…he could have at least unbuttoned a few more buttons. Sheesh.

And Camila? What kind of hooker heels are those? *shakes head* I give up.

Take Off Your Shirt, Matt!

Ahhhh. There’s nothing like a picture of Matthew McConaughey-hey relaxing on the beach looking like a freakin’ weirdo and WITH a shirt on. What the heck is happening to this man? Isn’t he supposed to have his shirt off? Hmmph.

Yesterday Matthew was spotted on the beach of Malibu engaging in some pretty damn serious yoga moves, which caused some onlookers to burst into laughter. “It was the funniest thing because he looks so serious while he’s doing the yoga. He’s every bit as funny as some of his films. He just doesn’t know it.”

His pooch BJ sure looked quite entertained as well. Or maybe he put on a cheesy smile for the bitches he saw in the distance. At any rate, the next time I see Matt he better have his damn shirt off or I’m boycotting this beotch from my site. Period.

Contrasting “Wars” Warriors.

Last night was the big night for Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson as they debuted their new flick “Bride Wars” in the fabulous city of New York. For those of you in the dark about the film, the two ladies play childhood friends who who fall out when their wedding dates clash. Realistic? Not so much. But, I suppose it COULD happen like being dumped in the same month by two men (I mean, it happened to Kate!).

At any rate, the two showed up to the premiere in very different ensembles. To me, it seemed planned… (Anne-looked tuxedo-fabulous, while Kate looked like she pieced together her black curtains from her living room and her white curtains in her bathroom together well) but to many others they are claiming that Anne is upset that Kate “upstaged” her fashionably. Errr…whatevs.

Both bitches looked fashionable and chic. And the movie? Well, I’m sure it’s only funny as any Kate Hudson movie can be…just this time she’s doing it without hottie McConaughey-hey.
