Jade Goody Going Home To Die

Jade Goody has been told news that she surely didn’t want to hear. Chemotherapy cannot help the spread of the cancer that she is trying to fight. Therefore, Jade is going home to spend time with her family and friends.

A source said, “Jade is very frightened of dying in hospital and wants to spend what time she has left at home with her boys and family close to her.” And so…home she goes.

A friend said, “Jade is still fighting, but she knows in her heart there’s no chance of getting out of this situation. All doctors can do is try and make her comfortable. It is going to be weeks now. Because she is still a young woman, the cancer cells are growing rapidly. A solicitor came into hospital this week. Jade has drawn up a will leaving her money in a trust fund for the boys.”

The medical treatment will not completely be halted as Jade is planning on having a community nurse come through daily to check up on her to make her as comfortable as possible.

This has got to be so devastating for Jade and her family. At least she is able to spend as much time as she can now with her boys and her man.

But Patrick, Cowboys Don’t Quit!

As you all know, I despise sad news that makes me want to break out the Haagen-Daaz, but I felt the need to let you all know that Patrick Swayze has made the decision to stop all medical treatment for his pancreatic cancer. Yeah, I know. After doctors told him that there was little they could do to stop the progress of his illness, it was a tough decision that he had to make. So apparently now, Patrick is going to just let his body attempt to fight off the cancer on his own.

Ughhh. How freakin’ sad.

A family friend told a source, “There’s nothing more doctors can do for him. We are down to the wire and the goal now is to keep Patrick comfortable. His condition is inoperable and they have stopped the chemo. He’s still losing weight and he’s very weak. Patrick regards himself as a cowboy, and is determined to die with his boots on and no regrets.”

It is amazing how he has already beaten the odds. Doctors say that with pancreatic cancer, most patients will only survive 6 months after being diagnosed. Patrick was diagnosed with this virulent form of cancer 12 months ago. How can you not admire this man for fighting so long and hard? We can only send him our best wishes and prayers. Hang in there, Patrick!
