She passed away in July last year and still there is drama surrounding Amy Winehouse. Can the woman just rest in peace for gawd’s sake? Apparently not, but with interesting reason.

We are hearing now that the inquest into Amy’s death may have been…wait for it…illegal and the family is irritated. Rightfully so!

Yesterday we heard that Amy’s fam is taking advice (more than likely legal advice) after they found out that the assistant deputy coroner Suzanne Greenway was NOT qualified when she took on Amy’s case!

What Greenway found in October was that Amy died after consuming too much alcohol. However in November she was forced to step down because she was not a registered UK lawyer for the required duration of five years.

So why in the heck would she have been assigned the case if she wasn’t qualified? Geez. How frustrating for the family. Papa Mitch told The Sun, “We were very shocked when we were informed the coroner was not suitably qualified. It’s hard to believe her credentials weren’t fully checked. You’d assume this sort of thing can’t happen. We’ve been informed the coroner was taking guidance from more experienced professionals and the verdict doesn’t appear to be in any doubt, but it’s upsetting to have to go through all this again. We just hope that matters can be resolved soon.”

Exactly!
