Tamar Kaprelian is not just a pretty face. She is one of those artists you want to succeed because she’s so damn down-to-earth and sweet. And duh, she has talent that cheeseburger lovin’ David Hasselhoff would be raving about.
As luck would have it Tamar received a record deal right out of high school after winning an online YouTube contest sponsored by hit group OneRepublic. But trust me, she’s been busting her butt for this deal since as far as she can remember and totally deserves to rock her way to the top of the charts.
In addition to her contest win, I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Kaprelian about her debut album, her love for Billy Joel and her relationship with the Cheesecake Factory.

New Craig David: Escort You

Well, to be honest with you, we American fans have been kind of screwed when it comes to being graced with David’s talent as of late. So no…Craig hasn’t been in hiding and no, he hasn’t disappeared off the face of the Earth.
Craig continues to make music and his voice is still on point. Check out his latest track called “Escort You” that was leaked on the web this week.

Eminem Experiences Some Leakage

Well, bad news for Eminem. He’s got a case of leakage that I am not sure can be cured with a box of Depends. Yesterday, Em’s “Relapse” was leaked on the net…TWO weeks before it’s official release date. YIKES!
Was it an intentional leak? Hmmmm…we’re thinking so. Included in the leak were snippets of tracks AND a clip from his upcoming “Crack A Bottle” music vid.
And let me just say…from what I hear THIS album is going to DOMINATE the charts. Em’s lyrics are JUST as controversial as his last album FIVE years ago. Get this…
On one track that was released, called “Insane”, Em raps gets extremely graphic as he jokes about getting molested by his step dad.
The lyrics go like this:
“My step father said that I sucked in the bed/ till one night he snuck in and said/ we’re going out back I want my dick sucked in the shed/cant we just play with Teddy Rucksbin instead/ after I fuck you in the butt, get some head/ bust a nut, get some rest/ the next day my mother said I don’t know wassup with this kid/ the bastard wont even eat nothing he’s fed/ he just hung himself in the bedroom, he’s dead/ Debbie don’t let that motherfucker get you upset/ let me go in there put a fucking cigarette to his neck / I bet you he’s faking it/ I bet you he just probably wants to see how upset she could get.”
So despite the “leak”…will you buy Eminem’s “Relapse” or would you rather buy a box of Depends?
Julianne Hough Says Bye Bye To DWTS

Her honey, country crooner Chuck Wicks got a swift kick in the butt from Monday’s Dancing With The Stars’ show, and now professional dancer Julianne Hough is bidding farewell to the show as well. For good.
Julianne may have won the DWTS title twice, but apparently another season is out of the question for the blonde dancer-turned-singer.
Julianne says of her partnership with Chuck, “We definitely went further than anticipated. I think he could have made it a little bit further. But you know what? It’s the name of the game and it’s about fan base and hopefully our country fans will follow us into music.” Boooooo!!! But, I suppose the world will not end.
Debbie Mathers Wants To End Feud With Eminem Before She Dies

When Eminem was back in the rap game five years ago, he made it quite clear in his music the hatred and resentment he has/had for his wife Kim, but more obvious his mother Debbie Mathers. It has been a decade-long feud that now his dying mother is begging her son to end.
Apparently Debbie is seriously ill after undergoing heart surgery and is desperate to reconcile with Eminem and his 13-year-old daughter Hailie before she ends up six feet under. Debbie’s mother tells the National Enquirer, “My daughter Debbie is very sick. Her dying wish is to reconcile with her son and see her granddaughter. It’s do or die and Marshall needs to see her before it’s too late. She needs heart bypass surgery and she should weigh about 120 pounds, but she’s some 50 pounds below that. Her breast cancer is in remission, but I’m really scared for her. I have to go to her house and help her get around. She no longer has the will to live.”
Despite the nasty past she’s had with her son, should Eminem reconcile with the woman who gave birth to him?
Lily Allen Was A Trainwreck.

Oh my lovely Lily Allen. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve updated you all with her life adventures, but she’s on tour right now and has been forced to be on her best behavior, especially while in North America. So, she’s been kind of blah. No feuds with attention-seeker Perez Hilton or drunken stupors to report. However, I do have some words of wisdom from the songstress…a reflection of sorts.
Obviously, Lily has had some to think about her wild and crazy past and feared that she screwed up her future career tremendously after the release of her 2006 debut album.
Lily says, “I took a bit of a beating the first time around. I became more famous for being a train wreck than a singer. I didn’t think I was capable of writing songs and making music.”
It is truly amazing what one can do with a clear mind!
