Whitney Houston Toxicology Report Hints At Drug Overdose

Whitney Houston’s Toxicology results are in.

So yeah. So much for that accidental drowning cause of death revelation. Even though peeps were telling everyone to settle the eff down because Whitney Houston was clean of drugs and getting her butt back on track with life and there was no way in got damn hell that Whit could have fathomed of indulging in drugs resulting in an overdose to her death, I guess those peeps were a tad naive or just full of hope.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s report, the hotel room where Whitney Houston died was filled with drugs and paraphernalia.

Not only that but there were “remnants of a white powdery substance” found in her room at the Beverly Hilton, including inside a drawer and below the base of a freestanding mirror. The report also says that “a small spoon with a white crystal-like substance in and a rolled up piece of white paper” were also found in the bathroom where Whitney was found dead.

But that is not all, folks. Yep, there is more.

In addition, “multiple bottles of prescription medication” were spread across a table along with a beer can and a half-eaten sandwich.

The coroner also says that Whitney “possibly overdosed on a narcotic substance, prescription medications, over the counter medications and alcohol.”

In other words, she probably did die of an overdose.

Sad, but soooo not surprising.

Did Whitney Houston drown in her hotel bath tub?

So here’s the latest on Whitney Houston’s death.

The Daily Beast reported on CNN this morning that they were ready to film a Behind The Music with Brandy and Whitney Houston was supposed to take part in it. They were waiting on Whitney to come down from her hotel room and when her bodyguard went up to get her she was found dead in her hotel bath tub.

TMZ is reporting that illegal drugs were not found in the hotel room where Whitney died, but multiple bottles of prescription drugs were found.

The website is saying that Whitney

was taking Xanax … evidence she may have fallen asleep in the bathtub where she died.

Family members of Whitney tell us the singer had a prescription for the drug, which is commonly used to treat anxiety and depression.

We told you yesterday … the night before Whitney died, she had been drinking a lot. Xanax mixed with alcohol can cause severe sedation, which could cause someone to fall asleep in a bathtub.

As TMZ first reported, Whitney was found in the bathtub and removed before EMTs arrived. The L.A. County Coroner will perform an autopsy — possibly today — to determine if Whitney died from drowning, and OD or other causes.

As we previously reported, Beverly Hills cops obtained a search warrant and found various prescription bottles — but, as far as we know, no illicit drugs.

So could have Whitney drowned in the bathtub as a result of a pill overdose?

REPORT: Leslie Carter died of Overdose

We just got an update on Leslie Carter’s death and it was what numerous sources have been saying. A police report has been released and what we know is that Leslie did die as a result of a drug overdose and it was a plethora of pills that were found near Carter when she passed away on Tuesday.

The drugs said to have been found beside Leslie were as follows: Olanzapine, (used to treat schizophrenia or bipolar disorder), Cyclobenzaprine (a muscle relaxant) and Xanax (used to treat anxiety/depression).

Leslie’s stepmother Ginger Carter gave a report telling the police that Leslie had “a long history of mental illness and was on medication for her depression” and that she seemed pretty upset and frustrated the morning that she passed away. So why did her family leave her alone for an hour to run errands if they thought she was not dealing with things okay?

Now simmah down, I’m not blaming anyone for Leslie’s death. As in any traumatic event, we find ways to blame ourselves. Could Leslie’s death have been prevented? I’m sure there are several questions the family is asking themselves.

I just have a feeling that there is a lot more to this story that what is being reported.
