Spike Lee’s This Is It Tribute

Michael Jackson – This Is It – Directed by Spike Lee from 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks on Vimeo.

The fabulous and controversial director Spike Lee is dealing with his grief of losing Michael Jackson by a big fat tribute. And it is pretty damn fierce. But you would expect so from a legendary director. Lee put together a music video for Jackson’s “This Is It” jam by featuring lots of cool footage from Jackson’s hometown of Gary, Indiana. And you cannot forget about those candids and even rare videos of MJ. They are in there too. Check out the video above.

‘Michael Jackson’s This is It’ DVD Release in January

If you didn’t get a chance to check out Michael Jackson’s This is It documentary in the theaters, a DVD release has been announced for January. Yes, ALREADY!

And even if you DID get to see the movie, this will be one DVD you will want to snag up if your name isn’t Hoffman Ma, the winner of the ultimate MJ memorabilia (the bedazzled white glove). The DVD will be more within all of our price ranges. Read more after the jump.

Weekend Box Office: October 30th, 2009, This Is It Rules!

The only new movie this weekend opening at the box office was Michael Jackson’s This Is It documentary, so it should have come as no surprise that the flick entered in at number one. But, compared to the other movies it was up against, the ching earned from movie-goers was nothing to sneeze at.

Well, the time arrived last night for the new Michael Jackson song This Is It to debut. At around midnight last night, the slow-paced-Heal-The-World-type song was posted up on the King of Pop’s official website where tons of fans have already visited.

Michael Jackson This Is It “Human Nature” Rehearsal Footage

As the time comes closer to the theater release of Michael Jackson’s This Is It, more rehearsal footage has been leaked. The latest clip shows Jacko working through one of my MJ songs…”Human Nature”. HOLLA!

So anycrotchgrabbingandsticklegkicking, this fabulous show is going to show Michael mentoring his peeps for the shows, including him leading all performances and staging the technical aspects of the concert…a little bit of behind-the-scenes if you will. All of the footage was captured at both The Forum and the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

And if you didn’t know, tickets are on sale September 27th for the October 28th worldwide release of the two-week run of This Is It. Will you be buying tickets?
