Scuffles with photographers…sharing ice pops with fans…talking intensely to mice about her whacked out hubby…smeared eyeliner and a ratted out beehive…Amy Winehouse is no doubt the trainwreck of the year. But Universal Studios sees differently. They want her. They want her badly for a role on the big screen. Whaaaaaat? Now while this may be an interesting idea and could possibly bring in some big bucks…would producers be able to count on Wino as a reliable “actress”? At this point in time…it’s highly doubtful. But, I could be wrong. I HAVE been wrong before.

Apparently, Universal Pictures sent Amy a script. So what kind of role do they see Amy portraying? A whacked out druggie? A hair dresser who discovers mice in beehives and takes them under her wing to grow them into strapping young mice? A trapeze artist with a fetish for ice pops?

Nope. Nope. And…nope.

Universal envisions Amy playing a music teacher in a problem school. The best part about this movie offer is that an acting coach would be available to help improve her acting skills. Also rumored to co-star with Amy is hottie Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Now, this could be good. However…

Universal has ONE stipulation…Amy MUST continue with her rehab program. Rehab? Ummmm…what rehab?
