“Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood is taking her depressed ass to rehab. And thank gawd for that! After an unsuccessful suicide attempt, the teen has decided to get some help at a rehab center in California, Star magazine reports.
Portwood confirmed the news saying “I am going to rehab for anger control issues and depression. I’m on medication at the moment to just help me relax. I’m in a vulnerable state right now and I know people want a lot of answers.”
It was on June 14th that Portwood was found semi-conscious by police in her home after a suicide attempt. Star magazine is reporting that Portwood is set to head to California to participate in a rehab program to get herself right.
Amber told Star, “Before I go to California I’m pursuing help with a psychiatrist.” And it’s obvious she needs that! Here’s hoping she can get enough confidence to focus on herself and her daughter Leah. Even if it means getting rid of her baby daddy douche bag Gary Shirley, then that may be what she needs for a fresh start at life!
