Bridget Moynahan attends the Jackson Hole Film Festival over the weekend.
So, you know the Bridget Moynahan story right? Dated quarterback cutie Tom Brady for a few years…they break up…a few weeks later she finds out she is preggers with his baby. In the meanwhile Tom gets himself hooked up with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. So, all alone is Bridget…to go through pregnancy…and child birth on her own.
In the July issue of Harper’s Bazarre, Bridget speaks about her time as a single mother.
“I’m not sure anyone — and I could be wrong in this — grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom.
When you’re suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you’re in your 30s, it’s a hard conversation. I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family. All of a sudden, you have this newborn you have no training for. It’s frightening.”But Moynahan insists she wouldn’t swap her maternal role for anything, she adds, “It’s golden and it’s tough and it was f’ed up. But now I have a child, and it’s the best thing in the world.”
We feel for ya Bridget. It is definitely Tommy Boy’s loss.
