Tupac Online Casting Calls
Online casting calls began yesterday (March 18th) for the highly anticipated motion picture Tupac- based, of course, on the life of Tupac Shakur. The Antoine Fuqua directed flick chronicles Tupac’s life and legacy, and if you think you have what it takes to exemplify Tupac, you’re invited to show your stuff. “We are excited to partner with Morgan Creek on this innovative casting call,” says Scott “DJ Skee” Keeny, founder of Skee. TV. “This audition process is a great example of utilizing today’s ever-evolving technology to reach fans and actors around the world to pay homage to a hip-hop legend.”
To get in on the action yourself, you can upload your video HERE. Fans and entrants are encouraged to check the site often for important announcements, including additional opportunities, that may be unveiled over the course of the month-long audition process.
The film will chronicle Tupac’s rise to superstardom as both a hip-hop artists and an actor, as well as his imprisonment and prolific, controversial time at Death Row Records- a time where he was steeped in the East Cost vs. West Coast rap war.
