“Extra” is the only one with special correspondent Hilaria Baldwin’s video diary footage as her and husband Alec Baldwin brace for Hurricane Sandy in NYC. Hilaria showed “Extra” all of their hurricane preparations from cooking a healthy meal, to yoga lesson with Alec, as well as making sure pups, Damita and Gitana were ready for the storm.
Alec was on double duty as cameraman and dog dryer. After taking the pups on another walk, the “30 Rock” star dried them off with a hairdryer and told a very damp Damita, “We’re about to expand your volume by 90%.”
By 5:45 AM, Hilaria and Alec were without lights, Hilaria said, “We have a little power left on the laptop, so we’re watching “Mirage” with Gregory Peck… the movie has a blackout in it, so it’s like we are watching ourselves.”
Sounds as if these two definitely tried to keep themselves entertained while bracing for the storm. I can only imagine that they threw a couple of downward dogs in there too.
