Apparently Whitney Houston had cocaine in her system at the time of her death. Anyone surprised? Just sayin’.
The cause of her death was also released today and we do now know that Whit did die of accidental drowning. And yes, cocaine was a contributing factor to her death.
Although Whit was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel last month and some pills were found on the scene, there was NO evidence of cocaine in her hotel room. TMZ is reporting that even though cocaine was not found in the room when law enforcement showed up, a close source to the situation is saying that whomever supplied the coke to Whit was the one who was up in her room making sure there were no remnants.
Despite what Whit’s family thought, law enforcement still believes that foul play was not involved and her death was not a homicide.
In other words, her demons overcame her. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t make the situation less sad.
