Wonder Woman Is Making a Comeback – Again

It seems like every time I turn on the television or pick up a paper, some new comic book hero is getting a series on the small or big screen. Well, now it looks like Wonder Woman is getting yet another chance to revive her celluloid career. After a failed pilot from David E. Kelley two years ago, the CW is committing themselves to taking the character of Wonder Woman back to television.

This next attempt at a live-action Diana Prince will more than likely be a reboot of the comic book franchise that focuses on her origins, chronicling her rise from young Amazon to a warrior princess with other-wordly powers.

If the CW is going to be producing this, then the stakes are considerably lower, so it may actually work there. The biggest problem with Wonder Woman has always been casting her role. They need a woman that is gorgeous, tall, and fit, but yet not too masculine and thin.  Lynda Carter will always be Wonder Woman for me and anyone else they try to fit into that costume (or any other tired version of it) will pale in comparison. But what about Megan Fox? A little on the short side, but everything else fits. Besides, she’ll need some money after she pops that babything out. Who fits the bill of Hollywood’s current crop of young starlets? Weigh in!
